Access

Best to ring farmer (Mr & Mrs Leeson) in advance on (reveal) to check it's OK. Drive up track to Hill Top Farm DE6 2BD and call at farm house for permission to descend & instructions on parking. Charge payable. Entrance near farm, on south side. Stainless U-bolt has been installed into lid to aid opening - do not attempt to use this is a backup.

This site is part of the DCA SSSI Conservation Monitoring Scheme.

Warning

There have been instances of a C02 build-up in the lower parts of the mine.
